xD carves through city streets with an agile and efficient 128 horsepower, 1.8 Litre Engine. Features such as Dual Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i), low-friction roller-rocker arms, and lightweight pistons help xD to squeeze the most mileage out of every litre.

Dual VVT-i

Dual VVT-i varies both intake and exhaust timing to increase burn efficiency while reducing emissions. For you, that means more torque at low and medium engine speeds and enhanced output at higher speeds. It also means savings at the pump, with xD delivering combined fuel ratings* of 6.7 L/100 km with the manual transmission, and 6.8 L/100 km with the automatic.
