Timeline

  • 2001

    The idea is born; build a brand that breaks the rules and connects with a new generation of drivers in an inspiring and authentic way.

  • 2003

    Scion xA and the iconic xB are launched. Equal parts transportation and personal expression. Both are immediate hits.

  • 2005

    Scion tC Sport Coupe arrives bringing unexpected levels of style, power and performance to a once dull segment.

  • 2007

    Scion xD takes over for xA. Equally polarizing, desirably equipped, and built from the inside and out to be customized and personalized.

  • 2010

    Scion comes to Canada, starting with 48 dealers in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Canadian youth embrace Scion and its ethos like no brand before it.

    The next generation tC is launched, pushing boundaries with all the right buttons.

    Scion xB and xD take to the street, in tune with Scion's promise to keep cars fresh and relevant.

  • 2011

    Scion iQ, another iconic city car is slated to make its debut. Intelligently engineered, uncompromising in attitude, and pure Scion in execution.

  • Next

    A rear wheel drive sports car will go from drawing board to showroom with more unique, affordable and fun-to-drive Scions to follow.
