How it works...
The patented DPS technology analyzes the audio signal from the head unit, then digitally re-masters and optimizes it specifically for playback in your vehicle—all in real time! DPS works by extending the frequency response of the speakers and routing the enhanced audio signal through a 4-channel digital amplifier.
Bongiovi Acoustics DPS installation consists of a wire harness, and the module itself is contained in a box about the size of a 1980's cell phone. Amazingly, there is room behind the dash for it!
The best part is that the DPS will improve the sound quality of any digital source— those compressed MP3 files will truly come to life! The method of integration allows you to make adjustments to Bass, Treble, Fade and Balance, and to change your Scion Sound Processor (SSP) settings.
